Christoper Reese, CPA, Parent of a Student Enrolled in the District Mr. Reese currently serves as Senior Vice President of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting at Kilroy Realty Corporation, one of the West Coast’s leading developers of office, life science, and mixed-use properties. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the company’s regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission and manages accounting for its construction and development activities. Prior to joining Kilroy, Mr. Reese spent 12 years in public accounting at two of the world’s largest professional services firms, advising public and private companies, and non-profits. A proud product of the public school system, Mr. Reese was raised in Fullerton and earned his degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton in 2004. His family has deep roots in the Anaheim area, with multiple generations attending schools in the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) since 1963. Mr. Reese and his wife are active members of the PTSA and have one daughter currently attending school in the AUHSD. They are strong advocates for public education and community involvement. |

Robin Mundschau, Parent and PTA Member Ms. Mundschau is a dedicated parent of two students in the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD), a 9th grader at Katella High School, and a 7th grader at South Junior High School. Both children are enrolled in the Dual Language Spanish program. An active member of the PTSA at multiple school sites, Ms. Mundschau is deeply involved in supporting school communities as both a parent and an educator. With 26 years of experience in education, Ms. Mundschau has taught grades K–8 and currently serves as a junior high principal. Her professional expertise includes overseeing school site budgets and leading campus-wide initiatives focused on student achievement and well-being. Ms. Mundschau previously served on the Anaheim Elementary Citizens’ Oversight Committee for Measures G and J, contributing to ensuring the responsible management of school bond funds. Her combined roles as a parent, community member, and educational leader provide a well-rounded perspective on the needs of students, families, and educators throughout the district. |

Brenda Soto Bryan, Member Active in a Bonafide Taxpayer Organization Brenda Soto Bryan retired in 2023 following a distinguished 40+ year career with Allstate Insurance Company, where she owned and operated a top-performing agency consistently ranked in the top 10 nationwide. Recognized for excellence in risk management and asset protection, she received numerous company awards and was frequently called upon by Allstate leadership to serve as a trusted advisor and representative for agents across California. After retirement, Ms. Soto Bryan devoted herself to caregiving for her father and father-in-law, both of whom battled dementia. This personal experience inspired her to found Friends of Brenda—a social initiative aimed at combating isolation through group outings, travel, and community-building events. Ms. Soto Bryan, an alumna of Magnolia High School's Class of 1971, began her education in the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) at Dale Junior High School, and later attending Trident Junior High School. A proud graduate of AUHSD, she also participated in the District’s Regional Occupational Program (ROP) and previously served on the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee for Measure H. Ms. Soto Bryan remains active in professional and civic organizations, including the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the National Taxpayers Union, and is a Lifetime Member of the Girl Scouts, bringing her leadership, financial expertise, and strong commitment to community service to the AUHSD CBOC. |

Alan Walker, Member Active in a Senior Citizens’ Organization Alan Walker, a retired fireman with over 30 years of service in the local fire department, has been a proud member of the community since 1961. An alumnus of Orangeview Junior High and Western High School, he brings over a decade of leadership as chair of the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) for the District’s Measure H bond. His strong commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility has been key to the successful management of bond-funded projects. In addition to his oversight role, Alan remains active in the community as a member of the Anaheim Senior Citizens’ Club and a former local business owner. He has also contributed his insight to AUHSD’s Blueprint for the Future Committee and the Bring Back the Splash Steering Committee.

Nitesh Patel, Member Active in a Business Organization Nitesh Patel was elected to the La Palma City Council in 2018 and currently serves as Mayor Pro Tem. He represents the City on the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority and the Orange County Fire Authority. His past service includes appointments to the Orange County Sanitation District Board of Directors, Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District Board of Trustees, and the Orange County Library Advisory Board. In addition to his public service, Nitesh holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation and operates multiple successful businesses. His professional background reflects a strong foundation in financial management, strategic planning, and operational accountability. Nitesh is also actively involved in the community as a board member of the Cypress College Foundation, La Palma Community Foundation, and the Boys & Girls Club, where he contributes to strategic planning, fundraising, and community engagement. He also serves on the Oversight Board to the Successor Agency to the Community Development Commission of the City of La Palma. |

Marlene Drinkwine, Member At-Large Marlene Drinkwine currently serves as Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administrative Services at the Coast Community College District (CCD), where she oversees a broad portfolio including budget, finance, accounting, purchasing, risk management, environmental health and safety, and facilities. With over 30 years of experience as a business official in California public education, she has dedicated her career to advancing fiscal responsibility and administrative leadership in school districts and community colleges. Ms. Drinkwine has extensive experience managing multi-million dollar bond programs, including both construction projects and bond issuances, across several school districts. She has provided staff support to multiple Citizens' Oversight Committees, preparing and presenting financial reports, performance audits, and annual reports to ensure transparency and public accountability. In her current role at Coast CCD, she supports the Measure M Citizens’ Oversight Committee. She also serves on the Centralia Elementary School District Citizens’ Oversight Committee and has previously supported oversight committees at Long Beach Community College District and Lynwood Unified School District. A proud product of California’s community college system, Ms. Drinkwine began her academic journey at Cerritos College, earning an associate degree in accounting. She later completed both a bachelor's and a master's degree in business administration. |

Lisa Eck, Member At-Large Lisa Eck is a dedicated member of the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) Citizens for Quality Schools Committee. A lifelong community member with over 50 years of residency and a former AUHSD student and teacher, she is deeply committed to improving school facilities and learning conditions for future generations. With more than 30 years of experience as a union field representative for the California Teachers Association, Ms. Eck has been a strong advocate and organizer, working closely with school districts and community groups to strengthen partnerships and promote quality public education. Her recent service also includes membership on AUHSD’s Community Schools Steering Committee, Insurance Committee, and participation in the LCAP Educational Partner Engagement process. |
